EFSI elects new President

On the occasion of the Extraordinary General Meeting held on the 8th of October 2021, EFSI members elected Herwig Muyldermans has new Chair for a two-years mandate.

With over 40 years of experience in employers’ federations at Belgian and International levels, Herwig Muyldermans has recently retired from his position of General Director of Federgon and describes himself as an “active retired”. Back in 2001, he contributed to the creation of the Service Voucher system, and since them has been actively involved in the sector’s development. 

Within his mandate, Herwig Muyldermans foresees to pursue EFSI’s work and cooperation with EU Institutions and PHS sector representatives. He will also seek to strengthen EFSI’s Secretariat while aiming to reach a balance and symbiosis among all members.  

The General Assembly was also the opportunity for EFSI members to thank Philippe Symons for his investment as President of EFSI during the last four years.
