International Year of the Family

EFSI joined the civil society Declaration on the International Year of the Family.

EFSI has signed the Declaration of the Civil Society on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the International Year of the Family which will take place in 2014. Initiated by the International Federation for Family Development (IFFD), it invites UN Member States “to promote the provision of integrated services for families and family-friendly taxation policies and practices, including reduced taxes on goods and services for early childhood products and services”. The Declaration will be submitted to the UN Commission for Social Development in February 2014.
