The European Care Strategy: what opportunities for PHS sectors?

Join us on the 29th of September in the European Parliament to discuss how the European Care Strategy address PHS ongoing challenges with European Commission representatives, MEPs and PHS Social partners.

 

The European Federation of Food, Agriculture and Tourism Trade Unions (EFFAT), European Federation for family employment and Home care (EFFE), European Federation for Services to Individuals (EFSI) and UNI Europa are pleased to invite you to a joint event on the topic “The European Care Strategy: what opportunities for PHS sectors?”, hosted at the European Parliament by MEP Sirpa Pietikäinen, on 29  September 2022.  

The event will gather EU-level key stakeholders, policymakers, social partners as well as PHS experts to discuss and analyse the European Care Strategy in light of personal and household services’ challenges, such as the recognition of PHS workers essential role in our society, the need for an urgent normative intervention to grant these workers access to the essential social protection that every worker deserves, or how to support PHS workers to remain in work throughout an extended working life.
