6th European Conference on personal and household services

The 6th edition of the European Conference on personal and household services was co-organised by the Consultative Commission on Industrial Change (CCMI) of the European Economic and Social Committee and the European Federation for Services to Individuals (EFSI) on the 7th of November 2014 in Brussels. 

This year, the debates focused on the issue of work-life balance and discussed the contribution of personal and household services to women participation to the labour market as well as to workers’ retention and satisfaction. In addition, the event addressed the impacts of recession and austerity on the provision of personal and household services and on work-life balance measures.
